The Southern Chiefs Economic Development Corp. congratulates CEO, Kerry Swanson, for being appointed to the Interim Board of Directors for the Rural Economic Development Organization – created in collaboration with the Manitoba Provincial Government and the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce.
Kerry has extensive industry experience working as the president of Herzing College, a senior manager with Purolator Inc. and as an expert business generalist for a variety of Manitoba-based companies.
The Southern Chiefs Economic Development Corp. has been working diligently on creating strategic partnerships to support employment and training opportunity for the 34 Southern First Nation Communities in Manitoba. Having a representative of the Southern Chiefs Economic Development Corp. participate on the board creates opportunity for SCO communities to be at the forefront of all economic development strategies throughout the province.
